 I received my undergraduate degree from Duquesne University and my masters and doctorate in clinical psychology from Indiana University of PA.  My specialties of study were families and behavioral medicine with internships at Western Psych and Allegheny General Hospital.  Was able to implement a partial hospital program at Irene Stacy Community Mental Health for dually diagnosed patients with severe mental illneses and drug/alcohol problems. Worked in private practice settings then began my own about 12 years  ago and have been adding practitioners of like mind who are dedicated to treating the mental health of individuals and families.  The practice also does evaluations for children in-home services and has provided summer camp sessions for several years.

The practice is located in a sizely victorian home in the heart of Butler, Pennsylvania.  In the practice we employ 3 psychologists, one counselor, a psychiatrist/PA, a dietician and a massage therapist. Our perspective is of the body and mind working in conjunction as well as always keeping in-mind a systems perspective.  We are dedicated to the health of the family and how it impacts on the individual's mental and physical health and vice versa.  Addressing the spiritual health of an individual and family is also very much considered.  The practice works with children(families), couples and individuals.  We occasionally do groups on weight management, journaling, couples and communication (nothing currently running). We do quite a bit of work with addicted families using community resources to complement our services.

We accept all major insurances (BC/BS, Aetna, Health Assurance, UPMC, etc.) including value behavioral health and chip programs.  We accept cash and credit cards.  We will see people without insurance for an abbreviated cost and do some probono work.
